Front cover Sketch

This sketch was my initial idea for my magazine but it goes against typical ruling of magazines because it needs to have someone looking forward towards the reader.

This is my initial idea for my front cover but instead i choose to put someone on the front cover. I used Photoshop to lighten up the image and and create shadows,

My Magazine Chosen Photos

These are my chosen images that i will choose to put on the cover of my magazine. Model : Shannon

decided to make my model point her finger up, since this represent the name of the magazine 'aim high'. 

the positive things about the photo is that the background is not as cluttered and its clear (except for the bottom part which can be cropped out) . the model is also looking directly into the camera which is what majority of front models have.Since this is a school magazine the model is dressed in smart formal uniform whilst holding a red folder, the theme of the magazine can easily be recognized due to the picture.The Negative aspects of the image is that the lightening is not as good since the picture was taken indoors and not outside.Another downside would be that i hoped that the background would all be one color but at the bottom there is a slight change of the color white.Besides that i can adjust the picture using Photoshop

Hello my name is Savanna Pires and i am making an introduction on the project of a school magazine i will be making.I have decided to make my magazine educational and almost like a guide to help students through out their college/sixth form years.So this also means my target will be 16 - 18 year old, I would like to make my magazines theme simple and casual but i would like for people to recognize the theme of my magazine straight away by just looking at the picture.On this blogspot i will include the stages of production that i made to finish my front cover and my contents page.
